A classic reinterpreted: Caprese made from gourmet buffalo mozzarella with thin slices of a sweet & juicy orange. Once you 've tried this, you'll never eat mozzarella with tomato again!
INGREDIENTS
For 2-4 PERSONS:
- 500gBuffalo Bill Buffalo mozzarella
- 2-3 organic oranges
- Fresh basil
- Pepper Symphony
PREPARATION
- Remove the buffalo mozzarella from the bag and cut into thin slices. Peel the orange and also cut into thin slices.
- Now you layer the orange and mozzarella slices alternately on a plate or a wooden board and put the worn orange stock from the cutting board over it.
- In a ratio of 2:1, you mix olive oil with balsamic vinegar, add a little salt and pepper, a small spoonful of mild mustard and the juice of an orange and mix the ingredients to make a homogeneous dressing.
- Spread the dressing spoon by spoon over the orange and mozzarella slices and refine with sea salt and pepper symphony. It is best to let the dish infuse for a few minutes so that the flavors of the dressing develop fully.
- A piece of good bread or a delicious buffalo rib eye fresh from the grill go well as a side dish.
