Buffalo meat has been enjoyed worldwide for centuries and is considered an absolute delicacy. Compared to other red meats, buffalo meat impresses with its uniquely aromatic flavor, characterized by fresh grasses and herbs. Unlike beef, buffalo meat is less flavorful than the fat itself. Due to the gentle rearing of the buffalo and their natural feeding, the meat remains juicy and full-flavored during preparation, despite the low intramuscular fat content.

Since we don't just offer prime cuts, we follow the "nose-to-tail" principle by processing the entire buffalo in our factory. The delicacies are on the road for less than 24 hours and are delivered between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

We don't require any lead time for your order! If you place your order before midnight, we can deliver the next day. Available delivery days are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

We currently do not have a sales shop in Switzerland, which is why all products can only be purchased online and are delivered by refrigerated express shipping.

Our meat is individually cut and packaged fresh on the day of shipment, and shipped immediately afterward. This exception applies to minced meat products and our Maultaschen (ravioli). Upon request, we are happy to deliver your entire order frozen.

In short: rapid freezing for maximum freshness. During shock freezing, the meat is frozen very quickly at approximately -40 degrees Celsius. This process is significantly gentler than conventional freezing. During shock freezing, the water contained in the meat expands. This results in only very small ice crystals forming between the cell walls, which do not damage the meat's cell membrane. This significantly reduces moisture loss and thus keeps the meat juicier.

Our team takes the utmost care to ensure safe express delivery of fresh meat. A specially designed, highly insulated cooler, reusable cooling pads, and our high-quality vacuum packaging ensure the utmost freshness for your ordered buffalo delicacies. Each package is packed and inspected by hand and then delivered directly to your door via express delivery.

Our coolers are foldable for easy storage. They can also be used on your next shopping trip to insulate your products on the way. Our ice packs can also be stored in the freezer and reused.

The minimum order value is 59.90 CHF, with delivery costs of 14.90 CHF. Delivery is free for orders over 150.00 CHF.

After placing an order, you'll receive an order confirmation by email immediately. Since we only ship by express delivery, there's currently no way to track your order using a tracking number. It's extremely important to us that your order arrives safely on the agreed delivery date. 

If this is already known during the ordering process, there is the option of specifying a storage location in the order comments field, e.g. neighbor, carport, behind the garbage can, etc.

In order to avoid further costs, the desired delivery date should be chosen so that the order can be accepted safely.

Public holidays are excluded from our shipping and delivery times. We cannot guarantee delivery on a public holiday within the scope of the calculated shipping costs.

Yes, buffalo meat is easy to freeze.

The most gentle way to thaw meat is to remove it from the freezer and place it in the refrigerator well before cooking and let it thaw slowly. If you need to thaw more quickly, we recommend gently thawing the meat in its packaging in cold water. 

A temperature of 0-2 degrees Celsius is optimal. If this isn't possible, the meat should be stored in the refrigerator at a temperature of 3-4 degrees Celsius.

The meat should be taken out of the refrigerator and unwrapped one to two hours before cooking to allow it to slowly come to room temperature. This reduces the tension in the meat that develops during roasting or grilling, resulting in more tender meat.

Our Meat usually lasts at least 12 days. 

Buffalo mozzarella usually has a minimum shelf life of about 2 weeks.

Our Minced meat products have a minimum shelf life of approximately 5-6 days.

The exact best before date is (also for all other products) on the packaging visible.

On the last page of the order, there's a voucher code field where you can enter a voucher code and activate it by clicking "Redeem." The voucher code is immediately recognized by the system and deducted from the total amount before completing the order. 

Vouchers can only be redeemed before completing the order process. Subsequent payment is not possible for technical reasons.

Of course, gift vouchers can be purchased in our shop and easily printed out at home.
