Incredibly delicious buffalo tartare on a refreshing, Asian marinade with lime, mint, ginger and garlic. A creation by food blogger Marcel Felix from BBQlicate.de.
INGREDIENTS
For 4 PERSONS:
- 500gBuffalo fillet
- 1 garlic clove finely chopped
- 2 shallots finely chopped
- 1 spring onion finely chopped
- 1 half bunch of coriander coarsely chopped
- 1 half bunch fresh mint coarsely chopped
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 THE Sojasauce
- 1 TL Ingwer Abrieb
- 1 tsp lime zest
- Juice of a ½ lime
- Etwas Sesam
- Chili flakes, salt, pepper
preparation
- Wash the buffalo fillet cold and pat dry. Now cut first into thin slices, then into strips and finally small cubes.
- Mix the other ingredients thoroughly, with the exception of mint and coriander, and season with salt, pepper and chilli flakes.
- Now mix the finely cut tartare with the marinade and carefully fold in the coriander and mint.
Optional: You are in possession of a Otto Wilde OFB ?? Then you should definitely try this optional additional step: Heat the OFB for a few minutes and serve the tartare in a serving ring on the grease bowl. Now the tartare is placed under the burner for a few seconds and lightly grilled on the top, so the fine tartare also contains delicious roasted aromas.
Good Appetit!
Many thanks to Marcel Felix from BBQlicate for recipe and photography.
