Double buffalo burger with mango chili salsa

Doppelter Büffel Burger mit Mango Chili-Salsa

The double buffalo burger with mango chili salsa is an absolute highlight! 180 grams of juicy buffalo meat with premium buffalo mozzarella in a freshly baked brioche bun. A delicious creation by Marcel Felix (BBQlicate).

INGREDIENTS

For 2 PERSONS:

PREPARATION

  1. Cut the mango into slices and grill briefly on both sides, then cut into small cubes.
  2. Finely chop the chili and coriander and mix with the mango cubes, honey, and lime juice. Season with salt, pepper, and sugar and set aside.
  3. Grill the prime rib burgers on both sides for 60 seconds using the Otto Wilde Oven Grill (OFB) until a nice crust forms. Then, reduce the OFB to its lowest setting and place the patties in the drip tray. Let them rest for 5 to 10 minutes, depending on the doneness and your taste. If you don't have an OFB, you can also grill the prime rib burgers on the grill or in a pan for about 2-3 minutes per side, then let them rest in the oven at 100 degrees Celsius.
  4. If you like, you can briefly toast the buns on both sides and then start topping the burger. To do this, place the lettuce on the bottom of the bun, then add the mango-chili salsa, followed by the juicy buffalo patty. The mozzarella is then placed on top of the meat, and a dollop of salsa and the top of the bun complete the burger.
  5. Marcel Felix recommends sweet potato fries as a suitable side dish. You can find the recipe for the brioche buns here.

Enjoy your food!
