Buffalo Meatballs

These Buffalo Meatballs made from Buffalo Bill Gourmet ground beef are not only wrapped in bacon and filled with cheese, but are also smoked on a whiskey barrel plank. Crazy? Absolutely!

INGREDIENTS

MEAT BALLS:

ADDITIONALLY:

  • Salt
  • Pfeffer
  • BBQ Sauce
  • 1 piece whiskys mokeboard from Smokewood

PREPARATION

  1. The buffalo mince is seasoned with salt and pepper and divided into 10 equal portions.
  2. Now cut 10 cubes of cheese and place them in the center of the minced meat portions. Then form the minced meat into round balls, so that the cheese forms the center of the meatballs.
  3. The 10 Meatballs are each wrapped with a slice of bacon and placed on the watered Smokeboard.
  4. Preheat the grill to 180 °C over indirect heat and cook the balls until the bacon is crispy (approx. 20 minutes).
    At the end of the cooking time, brush with the preheated BBQ sauce.
