These Buffalo Meatballs made from Buffalo Bill Gourmet ground beef are not only wrapped in bacon and filled with cheese, but are also smoked on a whiskey barrel plank. Crazy? Absolutely!
INGREDIENTS
MEAT BALLS:
- 400 gbuffalo minced meat
- 100g soft cheese
- 10 slices of bacon
ADDITIONALLY:
- Salt
- Pfeffer
- BBQ Sauce
- 1 piece whiskys mokeboard from Smokewood
PREPARATION
- The buffalo minced meat is seasoned with salt and pepper and divided into 10 equal portions.
- Now cut 10 cubes of cheese and place them in the middle of the minced meat portions. Then form round balls out of the minced meat so that the cheese forms the core of the meatballs.
- The 10 Meatballs are each wrapped with a slice of bacon and placed on the watered Smokeboard.
- Den Grill auf 180 °C bei indirekter Hitze vorheizen und die Bällchen so lange garen (ca. 20 Minuten), bis der Bacon knusprig wird. Kurz vor
Ende der Garzeit mit der vorgewärmten BBQ-Sauce bepinseln.
