Bratwurst vom Büffel

Bratwursts can also be a delicacy. We show you how to make buffalo sausages yourself. Cookbook author Heiko Blumentritt has created two delicious variations.

RED WINE FRATWORST

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 kg Buffalo mince
  • 20g salt
  • 5g sugar
  • 10g fried onions
  • 2g pepper
  • 0.5 g Coriander
  • 0.3 g Chili pepper
  • 2 g Majoran 2 g
  • 250 ml red wine

BEER FRATWORST

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 kg Buffalo mince
  • 20g salt
  • 4g sugar
  • 20 g onion powder
  • 2g pepper
  • 0.5 g nutmeg
  • 0.5 g marjoram
  • 250 ml beer

PREPARATION

  1. First, all the ingredients for the buffalo sausages are put into a bowl and mixed well.
  2. Now fill the mixed ingredients into a casing caliber 26/28.
  3. Now the buffalo sausages are ready for the grill. If you don't have a grill, you can also cook them in a pan.
